Q:  Renee writes in, she wants to lose 50 pounds in 2016 and wants to know how the challenge works to help her accomplish her goal.  Here is my response:

A:  Renee, I’m so glad you’ve come to the right place. Please let me outline the highlights of the challenge for you. First you will decide to take charge and create the life you want to live according to your own terms and desires. You’re the boss!

Then you will decide that by reducing your weight by 50 pounds (and keeping it off) that you will enjoy life thinner, lighter, more vibrant and healthy. Once you have made this decision there is no turning back. To decide one way is to be committed and that will set the wheels in motion for you to get the information, inspiration and support you need to turn your burning desire into your reality.

Your magnificent body was made to be in a state of radiant health and you can get back to that by eating better, being more active, reducing stress and several other points which are covered in the challenge (and in my book Living On Purpose).

But the most important aspect of the challenge is that you will set daily and weekly goals and action steps as well as create your support team. We’re all rooting for you and we know you can do it if you want it bad enough and set your mind to it. You will get an accountability partner (and perhaps a coach) who you will report to as often as it takes to make sure you’re on track. Daily is best.

You will also be accountable to yourself, and you will find that once you get in the habit of being good to yourself then you will find it easy and effortless to make healthy choices. Going through the challenge for 21 days and making important discoveries and decisions about your life will get you started; and then you will have access to all the knowledge, inspiration and support you need through our Facebook group and the new friends your going to make and put on your support team.

That’s how the challenge works and I hope that answers your question.
